Terms of Service

Global Chat is a Discord bot that relays messages between participating Discord servers, creating a shared cross-server chat feed. Server administrators choose which channels are used to send (broadcast) and receive global messages. Messages sent in a configured broadcast channel may be visible to members of other servers that have the Bot installed.

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required to use Discord in your country, to use Global Chat. By using the Bot, you represent that you meet this requirement and that your use complies with the Discord Terms of Service and Discord Community Guidelines.

You agree that you will not use Global Chat to:

• Send spam, advertisements, scams, phishing links, or other unsolicited content across the network.
• Share illegal content, hate speech, harassment, threats, or sexually explicit material involving minors.
• Distribute malware, attempt to exploit or disrupt the Bot, or abuse the service to harm other servers or users.
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organization.
• Violate any applicable law or the rules of Discord or participating servers.

Because messages are shared across multiple communities, content you broadcast may be seen by users you do not know. Use good judgment and do not share private or sensitive information.

Server administrators are responsible for configuring the Bot appropriately, moderating content in their own communities, and informing their members that messages sent in broadcast channels are shared with other servers. Administrators may remove the Bot at any time to stop participating in the network.

We may, at our discretion and without notice, suspend or terminate access to Global Chat for any server or user that violates these Terms, abuses the service, or harms the network or its participants. We may also block or filter messages to protect the integrity of the service.

Global Chat is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the Bot will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that messages will always be delivered. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Global Chat and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any content transmitted through the service by users. Your use of the Bot is at your own risk.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Bot after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
